I started Majoka Accounting Ltd. after years of watching small business owners get squeezed from both directions, either they were doing their own books at night after a full day of running the business, or they were paying full accounting-firm rates for work that didn’t need a full accounting firm. Neither option made sense for the businesses I was talking to.
I’m not a CPA, and Majoka Accounting Ltd. isn’t structured as an audit practice. What we are is a dedicated bookkeeping firm, built specifically around what small businesses actually need month to month: clean books, filings that happen on time, payroll that runs without drama, and someone who picks up the phone.
The vision from day one was to build that firm without borders. We started in Surrey, British Columbia, and grew into a team that now works across Canada, the United States, the UAE, Australia, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and India, not because we wanted to be everywhere, but because small businesses in all of those places had the same problem: good bookkeeping shouldn’t be hard to find or afford.
